There used to be a beautiful mural in Brooklyn that said “Read More Books!” Every time we walked by it, my friend would jokingly cover my eyes and say, “They don’t mean you.”
Hi everyone! If you’ve found this page, you probably want to know who in the world I am, so here it goes… Pegasus Paper Co. is a project of S a r a h Z a r, who is an artist with a TOTALLY HEALTHY book obsession. (That’s me on the left there.)
I made my first art book in 2016 and was thrilled when it was accepted into the curated bookshop on the second floor of MoMA (the Museum of Modern Art) in Manhattan.
Then I discovered Junk Journals and started crafting with the amazing community over at Junk Journaling For Everyone. They inspired me to create free digital downloads and junk journal craft tutorials to share with the community. I had so much fun there that I decided to design a how-to magazine that you cut up to turn into a junk journal by following the instructions, step-by-step. The first one has been getting lovely reviews, so I decided to create more and will be releasing the next two editions THIS SPRING!
