Digital Download | Woman with Miniature Dictionary Bookplate | Ex Libris PDF
This contemporary bookplate is made from an original oil painting I made a few years ago. In it, a well-put-together lady consults her miniature dictionary, while solving a crossword puzzle in the NY Times. This painting was made in NYC and shown in a NY exhibition. The colors are deep pthalo and indigo blues, and there is a vintage paper border. There is room in the area under where it says “Ex Libris” so you can write in your name. There is a black line around each bookplate to help you see the edge easily for when you cut out your bookplates.
Print out these labels and add your name to them, so all of your precious books can find their way home. They can be printed on sticker paper, but I think it looks best the old fashioned way. I like to print these out on thick paper and affix them to an inside page of the book with a glue stick.
