☽ Have you ever heard of Spell Paper? ☽
If not, I bet you’ve heard of the butterfly effect (in chaos theory, it’s called the Lorenz Effect), where a butterfly flapping its wings can cause a hurricane on the other side of the world.

Back to the Spell Paper Pack, which follows a similar principle. The idea is this. Every single thing that we see or think creates some sort of change within us. And every inner shift subtly impacts the way we interact with the world, both consciously and unconsciously, which in turn branches out and causes a web of subtle shifts that over time and space can magnify. Like the butterfly flapping its wings and causing a hurricane. A thought or a word can be a wing. A look can change someone’s life. You may never hear about it, but it’s real to them.

I designed this paper to create a designated space for this purpose. To remind you that even in chaos, there is always something you can control. That even the smallest choices you make can have an impact that expands over time. That your thoughts matter, even if you’re the only one who hears them. That your thoughts impact matter by changing the choices you make and the way you move through the world.

What you CHOOSE to think about matters because it changes who you are when you interact with and alter the world around you. Your attention and perception are sources of great strength, available to you at any moment. Spell Paper exists to remind you of your power. And to encourage you to use it.
Uses
This paper can be printed and used one at a time, or bound into your journal, book of shadows, or grimoire.
Printable Spell Paper
Centerfold pages can be used in the middle of signatures to add special emphasis, or separate different sections (ex: correspondences, spells, intentions, candle magick, crystals, herbology, wishes, spirit work, healing, etc.). The pages without the center image can be used throughout your entire journal as the foundation for all your workings.
This PDF contains 34 variations of Spell Paper, and one bonus page of moon phase stationery, (as a little early preview of a journal pack that will be out later this year).
*More colors were added after I made the image that says there are 23 pages, so you do get the full 34-page pack with this listing.

The vintage ephemera and antique clipart images from Pegasus Paper Co. are a combination of my own original designs and images from the public domain that have been edited and digitally enhanced. It is my goal to give you the largest and highest quality images possible. Many of these printable illustrations come from my own library and antique store treasure hunts in Upstate NY. Some are rescued from the public domain in poor shape, cleaned, collaged and mended. They are then released into the wild in higher resolution, to live productive lives in the hands of crafters, artists, and makers like you.

Printing
Print quality depends on the type of paper and printer you use. You can print it out as many times as you like, at home or with a commercial printer (ex: Staples, Kinko’s, Costco, etc.)
FOR FABULOUS PRINT QUALITY, USE 160 GSM PAPER OR CARDSTOCK.
(That’s 190mic or thicker.)
Quality
The pictures in the listing photos are small and lower resolution, with watermarks over them, but the files that you will receive will be larger images. Any watermarks you see in the product images will not be on the download. Digital items are non-refundable. Contact me if you have any trouble, and I will do my best to help you solve the issue.
✎ How To Add Text Digitally
JPG & PNG images
You can add text to digital images online by uploading them to Canva. The free version of Canva is wonderful and lets you edit any image you upload. You can also combine images, and do all sorts of other things.
Using a free *Canva account, you can upload this file, and add your own text to the image.
PDFs
If you already have the GoodNotes app, you can use that to digitally edit image files and PDFs. Otherwise, you will probably need to print them out in order to fill them in.
